IEP Consultant:
An IEP consultant, or Individualized Education Program consultant, is a professional who specializes in assisting students with disabilities, along with their families and educational teams, in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). IEPs are legal documents created for students who have special education needs, as mandated by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in the United States. Here are some common roles and responsibilities of an IEP consultant:
Assessment and Evaluation:
They may conduct assessments and evaluations to understand a student’s strengths, challenges, and specific educational needs.
Collaboration and Communication:
They facilitate communication and collaboration between parents or guardians, teachers, school administrators, and any other professionals involved in the student’s education.
IEP Development:
They assist in the creation and review of the IEP, ensuring that it accurately reflects the student’s unique needs, goals, and required services.
Advocacy:
They advocate for the rights of students with disabilities and ensure that they receive appropriate educational services and accommodations.
Legal Knowledge:
They have a good understanding of the legal framework surrounding special education, including federal and state laws and regulations.
Specialized Expertise:

Referral Coordinator:

Fiduciary Assistance:
A fiduciary is a person or entity that has been entrusted with the responsibility to act in the best interest of another party, typically in financial matters. This relationship is based on trust and confidence, and the fiduciary is legally and ethically bound to prioritize the interests of the party they are representing.
Cost: $125
Court Assistance/Advocate:
A court assistant/advocate is someone who speaks on behalf of individuals to ensure their rights and interests are protected within a system while providing hands on assistance with applications and various documents such as assistance in ex-parte motions, probate applications, etc.
Cost: $100
Mentor:
A mentor is a trusted and experienced individual who provides guidance, support, and advice to someone with less experience or expertise in a particular field or area of life. Mentors are typically individuals who have achieved a level of success or mastery in their own lives or careers and are willing to share their knowledge, skills, and
insights with others.
Cost: $100, this includes 2 monthly in person visits.
Tutoring:
A tutor is a person who provides individualized instruction or assistance to a student in a specific subject or skill. The goal of tutoring is to help the student grasp concepts, improve their understanding, and excel in the subject matter. Tutors can be found in various educational settings, including schools, colleges, and private tutoring centers.
